Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday (December 24) said there is an ongoing plot to spread rumor and propaganda against army in social media ahead of the upcoming December 30 general election.

ISPR came up with the claim at a press statement issued on Monday.

A vested quarter is trying to spread rumor and propaganda against the army using fake accounts in Facebook, Youtube and also fake websites, it said in the statement.

The ISPR urged all to stay alert against such plot aiming to tarnish the reputation of Bangladesh Army and not to share any post published by fake social media accounts.

It also advised all concerned to visit the official website of the Bangladesh Army and its social media accounts in Facebook and Youtube for any information regarding the army.
