bKash has reduced taka 3.50 as cash out charge through mobile apps. Now it has been fixed taka 15.00. Besides, bKash has also withdrawn the charge in regard of sending money to personal numbers. The bKash app was launched officially at a local hotel on May 15. CEO of bKash Mr. Kamal Quadir was present in the app launching ceremony.

Kamal Quadir said- Facility of money transactions with lower cost is available only in the app. But, those who won’t transact in the app, they are to be charged the previous amount. It means that the charge will be taka 18 for per thousand taka and in regard of sending money to personal numbers the charge will be taka 5.

So far around 14 lakh subscribers have downloaded the bKash App from Google Play Store after it was launched on last April 25. Image source: Prothom Alo
