After getting arrested in a case filed under Section-57 of ICT Act, BDjobs CEO and BASIS Director Fahim Mashroor has been released after interrogation. He got arrested yesterday as per a case filed by a former leader of Dhaka University Chhatra League Md. Al Sadiq.

Fahim Mashroor uploaded and shared satirical cartoon of Prime Minister and different provoking and instigating status and information from Facebook ID, as it was mentioned in the case statement given by Al Sadfiq.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mr. Nazmul Islam informed- Fahim Mashroor has been brought on the basis of a case filed against him. But, after going through his Facebook ID, nothing remarkable was found.

Later, he was released as per a deponent received from him that he must be available whenever he would be summoned for further interrogation henceforth.
