Bangladesh’s first cyber thriller Antarjaal is being screened in 184 theaters in Canada and America, including Bangladesh. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has announced the plan to build Antarjal-2 on the first day. Producer Dipankar Dipan said that the second sequel will be about artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the deep web.
“As a movie-loving viewer, I was stuck on the screen the whole time,” he said after enjoying a special screening of Antarjaal at Star Cineplex in Bashundhara City on Friday evening. Our new generation of artists and the entire team of insiders have done an excellent job; This is a perfect film with screenplay, story-telling, direction, music, and everything”, said Palak.
“There is an important message about how valuable data is to our future world and how to make our younger generation aware of it. In Antarjaal, Deepan Da has portrayed a complex topic like cyber security very smoothly and beautifully in the film”, he added.
Palak said the youth of our country played a strong role in the language movement in 1952 and the Liberation War in 1971. In this war, the film is about how our current and future generations of youth will come forward and play a role in ensuring the security of the country and the world.
Along with our economy, society, and entertainment is undergoing a paradigm shift, and this change is also being led by the film ‘Antarjaal’. It’s a new generation of cinema, a different genre of cinema; I am sure the movie-loving audience of our country will come to the theatres and enjoy the film,” Palak added.
After the premiere show of Antarjaal, producer Dipankar Dipan said, “The Antarjaal 2 has been announced. And for the first episode, I send my love to the whole team. The film tells the story of the conspiracy of foreign forces against Bangladesh, cyber-attacks, and dealing with it. Siam Ahmed plays the role of Lumin in the film. Bidya Sinha Mim plays the role of Nishat. Sunerah Bint Kamal plays an important role in the film. Her character’s name is Priyam. She works with robots. There are also ABM Sumon, Mashroor Rabbi Inan, and others.
